Peak Expiratory Flow

Clement Clarke's flagship product and the first choice for measuring peak expiratory flow of healthcare professionals worldwide. The Mini-Wright was first introduced in the 1970's as the far simpler and much smaller successor to the Wright peak flow meter. The Mini-Wright is the original portable peak flow meter and has been a globally recognised brand for many years. All Mini-Wright peak flow meters are checked individually for accuracy and calibrated by hand to ensure that the readings from any two meters are reproducible. This enables a patient to use one Mini-Wright at home and a different Mini-Wright in clinic, yet still rely on the readings obtained.

Nebulisation

When a condition such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cannot be controlled by the use of either metered dose inhalers (pMDI) or dry powder inhalers (DPI), or when a large dose of medication is required, the patient will require a nebuliser. Nebulisation is the only method of administering antibiotics in aerosol form. By combining the quality of the Lifecare Microneb III with the reliability and performance of Medix compressors, Clement Clarke can offer a customised solution for all patients requiring inhaled drug therapy.

Spacers/Glow Cap

Spacer devices assist in improving inhaler technique and drug delivery to the lungs. Clement Clarke International produces two spacer devices. The Able Spacer is a small, compact and lightweight Spacer that is suitable for both adults and children. The Spacer has many features including the ability to store inhalers while not being used and a coaching whistle. The Space Chamber is also available, this Spacer fits all commonly used inhalers, is autoclavable and is available with an O2 Port for Oxygen delivery. The Glow Cap is a handy glow in the dark inhaler cap; this ensures that patients can always find their inhaler during a night time asthma attack

Smoking Cessation

Clement Clarke International produces two excellent Carbon Monoxide Monitors. The Smokerlyser is a handheld, easy to use yet accurate device; it helps to determine patients nicotine dependence and is a useful tool in the helping smokers to quit. The Smokerlyser Compact offers ultimate protection against infection as the device comes with One Way Valve Mouthpieces. The CO Monitor is our second model, this device is ideal for use in homes, GP surgeries and smoking cessation clinics, and mouthpieces are available to prevent cross infection.

Spirometry

Spirometers are used in the diagnosing, screening and assessment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Our One Flow Spirometers are a range of handheld, lightweight and easy to use Spirometers that are ideal for home use, GP surgeries and hospitals. The All Flow Spirometers is an advanced portable PC compatible Spirometer that is ideal for GP surgeries and hospitals.

Inspiratory Flow

Inspiratory Flow is a measure of how fast a patient can inhale air. Our In-Check Dial is an ideal way of teaching inhaler technique correctly. The In-Check Oral is a device that is used during COPD monitoring. The In-Check Nasal measures nasal passage obstruction and can be used during the assessment of Allergic Rhinitis.
